About Dr. Mark Rosenberg

Dr. Rosenberg has been practicing integrative oncology for over 17 years. Prior to practicing oncology, Dr. Rosenberg was an emergency physician and the director of several emergency departments throughout his career. After diagnosing his own mother with metastatic cancer, Dr. Rosenberg's life abruptly altered course, as he searched for more effective treatments for cancer, than that which the standard of care had to offer.

Dr. Rosenberg has since started a pharmaceutical company which recently merged with a spinout of Harvard. Later this year, they will begin the first human trial with a cancer stem cell- targeting drug. In addition, Dr. Rosenberg recently filed a provisional patent on a device to eliminate circulating tumor clusters from the bloodstream; these clusters are what causes metastatic disease. The research has just begun at the Univ. of Michigan. Dr. Rosenberg is also the program director for an integrative cancer fellowship.
